Blocking the data port is a pretty annoying problem as I don't like to twist the rubber to plug it in or remove the case altogether every time I synch or charge. But the only REAL problem I had with the case is that something about the case occludes the flash - even after cutting at the camera hole, something about the case makes all my flash photos look all weird and ghosty. Take one shot with case on and one without and there is a universe of difference. That said, this is visually the most awesome case in the history of ever, and I also like the texture of it, keeps it from slipping off my shoulder; if they can make it rigid, with a dataport, and solve the flash issue, I will buy another one without hesitation. Really nice looking case, always catches the eye. Sometimes I forget the phone in the office in it but noone touches it thinking that it's an old cassette - hope that my luck will last! However it's a bit loose around the phone due to it's material (silicone) and the edges may slip a little out as you put it in and out of the pocket. Anyway, this makes it easy to charge without taking the whole case off. It is also much thicker than the clear cassette case which is my favourite. I think that if they produce this design with the clear cassette's material they will have a best seller! (Posted on 10/22/11)

I dig this case a lot. Not only does it confuse the hell out random people when it's sitting next to me ("What tape is that? Why do you have a cassette?!"), but it also looks cool and offers good protection! I like rubber cases because they are easy to take on and off for cleaning. I have no problem with the cassette case. This case also protects the data port... genius! I also prefer rubber cases to plastic ones because they offer better grip and non-slip action when I put my phone on a table, etc. This case definitely does the job! It's a great buy and makes for a fun converation starter... :) (Posted on 6/4/11)

This sick cassette case has gotten me so many compliments at work, and especially when i go out. Not even kidding, I picked up a girl a couple weeks ago just by having my iphone out and as soon as she saw the case, she came up and asked me about it. I preceded to talk to her and in return for the name of the website (icovers4u) from where I got it from, i got her number. We've seen each other a couple times and it's been uuuuhhhhmazing :)
So thank you icovers4u, not only is your service as good as they get, not only is this cassette case the most bitchin case in the history of iphone covers, but it also helps with the ladies. I can never thank you enough, you and this case have saved my love life.

This is hands down the coolest looking iPhone cover ever.
Which is good because if it wasn't, I would be feeling pretty poorly about buying it.

Data port is blocked.
Won't be able to dock to anything with case even halfway on.
Speaker sound is effected by thick tunnels at the bottom.
Silicone. (floppy & playable, which means it's constantly getting pulled off, picks up your pocket lint like it's going outta' style, input side of iPhone is slightly covered by side lips of cover, the same floppy lips also catch when you make big horizontal swipes.)

But for all it's shortcomings, significant as they may be, I'm still using it.
Because like I said:

My husband gave the black one to me as a gift and I really like it. I prefer that the data port is covered because I feel it gives another measure of moisture protection when I leave my phone out. I get compliments on it every single day, with people asking what it is. (Posted on 12/30/10)
